3. Increment
The Increment is a step toward realizing the vision or aim of the project. It is the final, functional product that the team created during the sprint. Teams can specify and illustrate their Sprint Goals in several ways. The team’s primary goal for the sprint—what it hopes to accomplish at the end of the sprint—must not change despite this flexibility.

A set of features for a later release may be completed by other teams. When the features are verified and prepared for release, in this instance, the Sprint Goal is accomplished.
